Peter Vaughan, the British actor known for playing the role of the blind Maester Aemon on Game of Thrones, has died at 93. Vaughan had a long career in British film and television, including a memorable appearances on the sitcoms Porridge and Citizen Smith, as well as film work in Terry Gilliam’s Brazil and Merchant and Ivory’s The Remains of the Day.
