Critics Choice Awards 2024: The Full Winners List

At its 29th annual award ceremony Sunday, the Critics Choice Association announced its picks for 2023’s best movies and TV. Plenty of celebrities were in attendance, from The Morning Show's Jennifer Aniston to Barbie's Margot Robbie, and the red carpet looks were just as glamourous as you'd expect from such an A-list guest list.

But though Barbie dominated the nominations list, it was Oppenheimer's night, with eight wins including a best director honour for Christopher Nolan, a best supporting actor trophy for Robert Downey, Jr., and best picture. Barbie did closely follow Oppenheimer's eight gongs with six wins on the night, including for best hair and makeup and best song for ‘I’m Just Ken' (which saw Ryan Gosling give a very meme-worthy reaction).

Some expected host Chelsea Handler, who returned for her second year in the role, to use her opening monologue to bring up her longtime friend and former romantic partner, Jo Koy, whose poorly reviewed spin as Golden Globes drew harsh criticism last week. But other than one blink-and-you-missed it line—“thank you for laughing at that; my writers wrote it,” which was presumably an allusion to Koy's awkward mention of his Globes writers—the Koy controversy went unacknowledged.

No surprises with the night's big winners on the TV side – Beef and The Bear – both of which won in every category where they were nominated. Below, find a complete list of Critics Choice Awards 2024 nominations and winners…
